Finally, had my POSB card changed to GO Card. At least for sure, it is nicer than the old NETS Card, and with it behaving as master card,definitely, there will be a lot of discounts. I went to National Library after that. The purpose of me going there was to search for books, especially those bio-related subjects. Ya, i think it is really time to see what i want in the future, at least for now what i can do is to do on many research to see what the market demand is. However, it is kind of pity, as it is under reference books, so in another words, i cant probably borrow it. Heex nvm, i found someone who can help me - Thank You Yanling! At OG, i got myself a simple coin pouch. At Marina Topman, i had bought a pair of jeans using birthday discount coupon. It was quite reasonable after the discount. At the store, i saw Doreen, she called my name, if not i dun think i could recognise her =) On the way home, i passed by Ang Mo Kio Hub, went for a short NTUC shopping to stock up my cupboard. Saw my cousin and his gf, saw Dian Yuan's gf too. haha what a small world. Im booking in tonight, due to guard duty tml. Sian! Haha im officially 21 years old. My birthday fell on monday,which means that i was in camp. I didnt haf any form of celebration on that dae itself. But i haf so many people i wanted to gif a special thank you to them! 1st: My Army Buddy (Wen Bin): Haha he got me a mini durian cake. Yum yum! Tasted so nice that i kept pastering him to buy me another one, or rather two.hahaha 2nd: A list of people who smses me in the middle of the night while im asleep haha! Tooo many to list.But for those who are reading my blog, u know who u r! thanks! 3rd: Min, agreeing to gif me a treat! hahaha i just wan a mini cake! thats all! haha 4th: Parents for buying me Wallet 5th: My bunkmates, almost wanted to strip me! haha luckily my reaction was fast! 6th: Those who left comments in my friendster! 7th: All those who forgot my birthday..hahaha thanks ar! Hee..This week, we had atec(grading) mock test. Hahaha my detachment got Redcon1 (excellent performance and drills). Ya wif that, it gave us more confident to handle the real grading test next week. Haha in less than 5 hours will be my 21 years in this world. What is so special about this magical number? -Participating in the Election -Application Form does not need parents signature -Major Decision Maker -VISA Card Holder Hahaha actually i cant identify any differences, to me it is just another number on its own. heex No major celebration for me this year, partly is due to: -Birthday falls in weekday. Stay in Camp! -Most of my friends are holding Party,BBQ and so on..too many in June! -and blah blah blah... ... ... Had mid-lunch/dinner wif my parents at Chinatown. Heex and they got me a goldlion wallet as my birthday gift which i wanted long ago hahaha. Followed by shoppin at Vivo City. ------------------------------------------------- Yesterday, i went to West Coast Park to haf a mini gathering wif my friends. NV 30   hahaha instead of getting NV24HD, i got NV30 instead at an affordable price of $299. Free Gifts: 2 x 4GB Memory Card 1 x Tripod 1 x Extra Battery 1 x Screen Protector 1 x Slide Handphone Hahaha sooo cheap! ---------------------------------------- Last week, i was quite busy in camp due to the preparation of ATEC Stage 1 (some sort of tests, to test the abilities of the soldiers). Almost everydays, we were in outfield. Next week, most probably will be the same too. 2 teams will be selected for the tests, yea im in it. Their aim is to get REDCON (Readiness Condition) 1. But im quite scared, i might screw up the thing, and cause the whole team down. Wish me Luck Again =) hahaha --------------------------------------- Ytd, i went for a short run. After which, went to meet up wif my cousin and friends at Ajunied. Wow, my cousin proposed to his gf ytd. So sweet, too bad i missed the great show cos i was in camp. Sigh. wish them all e best! haha Today, met up wif elm at yishun gym. then we proceeded to AMK Hub. haha i applied 2 VISA Cards - UOB Card & Citibank Card. hahaha..hmm for sure tat doesnt show im rich or wat, its just that, it seems like this 2 cards allowed me to get alot of discount in this GSS!. too bad, a few more days to go, anyway, it is nv too late for me to apply now. hahaha. Mizuno Vgo Run - this is my 2nd 10km race and so far it is the most tiring race that i have ever run. The run was held at Bukit Merah and it took me 1 hour to reach that place on bus, meaning to say, i woke up at 4.30am to prepare myself and 5.30am on the bus. As the place is quite new to me, i got to carry wif me a very detailed singapore map to prevent myself from getting lost. So, reached the place exactly at 6.30am. The race started at 7.30am with onli 2000 people participating. Route: Bukit Merah --> Upslope to Mount Faber --> downslope to Bukit Merah. As the routes leading to mount faber were mainly roads, part of the lanes were closed. Speed reduced when heading up the slope, and sprinting while going down. It was a tough race, with many people chasing each other and finally i finished the race in 54mins. The result is definitely better than the previous one, with 8mins improvement. At 58mins, 1st friend, kah wei, came back and 61mins, 2nd friend, elmer came back. We managed to gather together and took a photo:  After the run, we went to Paragon to purchase Crumpler Bag, Black, very nice, but the price is even nicer. My bank got to deduct $183 cos of this bag. Wave goodbye to my $$$.   ---------------------------------- Yesterday, i went to PC Show after father's day celebration, and i got myself a non-camera phone for army-purposes. The current nokia phone that im using, is spoiled, totally cant receive any sms at all. It was so fustrating, and with alot of misunderstandings. hahaha anyway, hope this new phone can solve the problem. oh ya, and i met yanling at the pc show..hahah not bad ar, still can recognise me..   Went to Jacob's House after that, cos it was his birthday celebration and he had invited us to his terence house. Wow, his room is so big, 1 room equals to 2 rooms of mine. hahaha However, i didnt stay long, cos i got to rush home to haf sufficient rest for the run the next day. With four of us sharing, we bought Starbucks and epi-centre gift vouchers for him. At home, i was online with Miss Zhang. The pilot who died during training is the senior of hers, and she went to his wake to see him the last time before he left. Heard that the wake was somewhere near my place, but i didnt get the chance to see it. Ya realli admired her courage and strong-will. Hope the pilot's parents and friends could take care of themselves. At the same time, miss zhang is also contacted with chicken pox and fever..wow so poor thing..hope she can recover soon. Once again, im back. This whole week was quite a busy week, with the never ending guard duty, cleaning of equipments and lots more. Last wednesday, we had our bullet-proof live shoot. hahaha after the whole shooting, onli to realise im not a bird shooter, i can aim, i can shoot le. hahaha, it is just the zero-ing part that i didnt do well that time. heex. it was fun. Due to the recent deaths of 2 army personnel, from friday till sunday is the time-out for all serviceman. Hope they can RIP and continue their journey in another world. Yesterday, the battlion organized 1 big event, and our company came in 1st, hahaha we could finally see the smile from our CSM. hahaha think of it, actually he is not a bad guy. hahaha he happy, we happy, everyone is happy. Hahaha finally the running results are out - placing, timing & photos  Ranking: 128 out of 874 particpants for 10km competitive run! 5km mid-turn timing: 0:28:48 10km finishing point: 1:02:35 Shag Face! whhooo...cool! Completed 10km Saucony Run in 1 hour 02mins! hahaha cool, 62mins for a first timer, hmm im very satisfied with my result. heex. To prepare for the race, i actually had my 3-4 alarms set, just in case i couldnt wake up on time. 1st sound, 4.30am and it continued to ring every 15mins. The actual time i woke up was 5.15am and left home at 5.45am. Sian, the bus was long, got to wait extra 15mins for the bus, if i knew the bus would take tat long, i would use e time to sleep. The journey was 30mins, and landed myself at Victoria School, and it was still not there yet, got to walk another 1-2km to the staring point. Wow, really a lot of people. My wave started at 7.30am exactly. Before that,i went to look for my friend, and we had some light warmed-up together. n finally we left for the run. Route: Starting Point (Carpark E2, Angsana Green) --> Seafood Restaurants --> chalets --> MacDonald --> Big Splash --> further down --> U-TURN . Finally, dashed through my way to the finishing point, lookin at the clock - 1 hour 02mins. haha upon finishing the race, we were entitled to 1 finishing medal and goody bag (full of vouchers). There were unlimited of 100 plus drinks for us to grab, diff booths promoting health-matter stuffs and also something that made me queued up for 30mins, the foot massage. hahaha wow cool, the feeling was so nice after a long tiring run. The medal!    The Vocuhers!  What i love most are the Crocodile 30% off and Saucony 30% off vouchers. hahaha next week, i might go shopping again with all those coupons. Saucony Running Singlet!    Hahaha hmm no comments, anyway i didnt wear their singlet there, a bit too loose, can see through my armpit as well as hahaha chest.. There were lucky draws, but as usual, no luck. haha so took a bus to Parkway Parade to get some books and then home sweet home. Lastly, i ended my dae wif a haircut near my place. --------------------------------- Yesterday, went to collect Mizuno Vgo Kit Bag. Wow, definitely their shirt n stuffs are much more nicer.  shall upload the shirt photo next time. Anyway the race will start next week at Mount Faber. Haha Im going to be late..i better blog a fast 1. Yesterday, i went to Velo City to collect Saucony Passion Run Kit bag - contains singlet, number tag, as well as running chip. The queue was long, it took us 20mins to collect our kit bag. Luckily, I do haf friends joining me in the run. Afterwhich, we went to World of Sports to register ourselves for the Mizuno Vgo (15th Jun) and Mizuno Wave (27th Jun). Both are 10km route, and part of the money will be given to the charity. Hahaha run for passion, and at the same time help those in need. (photos will be uploaded next time!) It was already in the late afternoon after the collection of the kit bag. I made my way to Suntec Convention - World Book Fair. Yea, tried my luck to see if i could get any good books. Unfortunately didnt manage to, there were just too many books, haha so walked out without getting any books. But instead, i got a book "the present" from carrefour at a very affortable price. As i still had the $10 Topman voucher with me, and the expiry date was near, so i actually bought myself a jean.haha Finally, went home to eat. Evening time, i went out again. Gone to Tampines Mall. Got a card from Precious Thoughts, as i still have plenty of time, i decided to settle at one area and scribble aome words onto the card. It was meant for min as she is going Malaysia tml. Wish u all the best and bon voyage! We then went to Courts, Ikea and Giants and finally home sweet home after 2,3 hours of walk. Today, i spent the whole afternoon to renovate my own mini room, haha, cleaning n shifting furnitures. It was tiring, but lookin at the result, it was very satisfying. hahaha my parents were shocked of the chances. Lets see if i could show u guys the photos next time. Late afternoon, i made my way to vivo city. First place i went to was Pageone and I got myself a book. Went to shop ard the area, and got myself another t-shirt form Pull n Bear. Hahaha oops this weekend was actually quite terrible, i spent too much. Next week, i'll try not to spend money (hard). hahaha and finally rushed back home n get ready all my army stuffs, and prepare to defend our country. min, enjoy urself to the fullest tml. take care of urself and drink more water. haf fun!
