    Field Camp! at

Finally, im back from field camp. Hahaha come on, honestly speaking, dun be afraid to tell me the truth, did ANYONE miss me? heex..enough of all the craps..Let me share with u what i had done for the past 1 week in camp.

Sunday Night - Was travelling bus 74 to Ang Mo Kio Station. Initially, i was listening to my beloved mp3 songs, till i saw the charity show appeared in TVMobile and i tuned to fm89.3. Sigh, sad, the moment when i tuned in to that channel, that was the moment, if u still remembered, "2 kids, lang song - mama bei ku". If u were like me, had watched the show, yea, that was one of the touching part, and my tears dropped. Looked around, luckily no one was looking at me, as all eyes were on the screen. Wow, but dont u agree with me, is very touching. Ya n so i was listening the fm all the way till camp.

Monday - Thursday - Field Camp. haha forever a low morale thingy. Nobody enjoys field camp, come back wif all e muds, dirty vehicles, eat combat rations, not enough less (oops but not for us) and yea free food for mosquitos. wow, commando-trained mosquitos - fats n juicies (haha what am i talking), they really went all the way to their enemies (btw am i their enemies). Really terrible. Me n my friend just came our for a walk, and all the mosquitos came to attack us, haha very funny, they only attacked thigh area (maybe oily n fatty bahx). Hmm i realli doubt their needles, i was wearing my baggy pant, there were so much gaps in between my pant n legs, just dunno y their needles were like "jin ku bang", could went through all e way to suck my blood. Argh Sux..hahaha anyway the results that i have, full of mosquito bites, and is realli countable, around 50++. Argh.. so itch, scratch..scratch..I Love U Mosquitos! Beware of Me Next Time! haha

Friday - Do i still need to mention? Book Out Day! Haha went for 12km run. Sweat = Excitment.

Event for Saturday: Collect Saucony Kit Bag at Novena Square --> Suntec City - World Book Fair --> Free Slot (haha date me, book me, meet me, im fine with it) --> dinner with my beloved parents.

    Things to be Done:
Registration for Mizuno Vgo 10km Race Run at Mount Faber. (Charity Purposes)

    让爱川流不息

Im feeling so upsad, heart is in pain, hen xin suan! Im so busy wif all the army stuffs, i seemed to miss out so many info n updates of the 四川地震. I did not know the seriousness of it, until i heard an article being read out from the radio - About a dead mum carrying the baby in her arm and holding on to the handphone. In her handphone, this was what she typed: Baby, if u r still alive, mum wants to let u know i still love you! It touches me, it makes my heart broken, it nearly drops my tears. I know I have to do something about it. I know with my little help n contributions, it will help.

I have had decided what i want to achieve in life.

In this world, is not all about study, play, work, eat, sleep. It is definitely something more than that. I want them to haf a share of my love. I want to lend out my helping hands. I want them to know i care!

Hope, this disaster could come to the end! Please, it is hurting so many innocents, so many people. It is making us dropping tears. =.( Guys out there, lets us do something about it. May god bless them! =.(

    National Runway! at

    Yesterday.

Singapore Expo --> Adidas Sales, Popular Sales, Singapore Food Fair, Robinson Birthday Bash
Marina Square --> Suntec City --> Great Singapore Sales

Haha went to Singapore Expo, initial aim was to go popular n robinson, only to reach there then i realised Adidas Sales were also on. The queue was damn long, i managed to squeeze in after a few mins of wait. Wow, really cheap, bought T-shirt and Sport Porch. Cost Me $35. See, cheap right!

Popular and robinson were alright, didnt realli buy much thing, onli got myself innerwear. haha

Then rushed back to Hougang, ate wif my parents. Immediately after that, went to Marina Square. Haha the shopping was nice, with min accompanying me. shopped, played and talked rubbish. hahaha n it lasted til late 11.30pm. Finally, home sweet home.

    Today.

Today was supposed to meet Kah Wei at 6am as he agreed to give me a lift, but but but, i woke up so late. I woke up at 5.58am. Very diao right! haha no choice, rushed n rushed, brushed my teeth, forced contact lens into my eyes, dumped all e equipments into my bag and left e place. Upon reaching the place, only to realise i was at the WRONG place. OMG..got to rush again, instead of taking his ride, i took a cab down. Luckily it only costed me less than $6.

In the morning, the weather was abit bad, started to rain, but it did not last long. And that was how it looked like when enter - Paya Laba Air Base

    Photobucket

The number of people that u see in it, is onli like 0.01% of the whole population. There were more than 7000 particpants..haha the feelin is so nice, when thosands of people skating and cycling together. 1 whole big lap is 15km, and for skaters, we got to blade 2 rounds. The whole event started at around 8.30am, as we waited for the arrival of VIPs..The race was smooth in the beginning, until my strap broke..argh, it made the rest of journey tough for me as the blade might break anytime..haha i got to endure that for the remaining 20km..very hard n stressful..but with my determination and yea i did it in 1 hour 45mins.

    Photobucket

It was a nice experience. I promised to join again next year, maybe the next time round i should invite more people to join me..haha oh ya the bad conditions of my blade.

    Photobucket

    Photobucket

Broken Strap! It is time to get a new blade soon..heex

End of Race. But not the end for me yet, as i had another program to attend to. I took bus down to Eunos --> Orchard. As today was the IDP Education at Orchard Hotel Ballroom, so i got to rush there to meet up with the lecturers and representatives, so as to get more info regarding the courses n Unis. Not onli did i check for Life Sciences related courses, i did check out Tourism Courses too. Since i do not haf any business-based backgound, it required me to study the full course without exemptions. haha expensive. Anyway, i was kind of shocked when i heard that Government Sectors do not recognise 1 year degree even if it is from a good Uni. Really?? haha dunno..hmm if that is really the case, then how? will the money be wasted if i come back wif a degree but without a good job.

    The Invisible Letter: (Touching Story!)

    It starts in the heart!

Sally jumped up as soon as she saw the surgeon come out of the operating room. She said: "How is my little boy? Is he going to be all right? When can I see him?" The surgeon said, "I'm sorry. We did all we could, but your boy didn't make it." Sally said, "Why do little children get cancer? Doesn't God care anymore? Where were you, God, when my son needed you?" The surgeon asked, "Would you like some time alone with your son? One of the nurses will be out in a few minutes, before he's transported to the university." Sally asked the nurse to stay with her while she said goodbye to her son. She ran her fingers lovingly through his thick red curly hair. "Would you like a lock of his hair?" the nurse asked. Sally nodded yes.The nurse cut a lock of the boy's hair, put it in a plastic bag and handed it to Sally. The mother said, "It was Jimmy's idea to donate his body to the University for Study. He said it might help somebody else. "I said no at first, but Jimmy said, "Mom, I won't be using it after I die. Maybe it will help some other little boy spend one more day with his Mom." She went on, "My Jimmy had a heart of gold. Always thinking of someone else. Always wanting to help others if he could." Sally walked out of Children's mercy Hospital for the last time, after spending most of the last six months there. She put the bag with Jimmy's belongings on the seat beside her in the car. The drive home was difficult. It was even harder to enter the empty house. She carried Jimmy's belongings, and the plastic bag with the lock of his hair to her son's room. She started placing the model cars and other personal things, back in his room exactly where he had always kept them. She laid down across his bed and, hugging his pillow, cried herself to sleep. It was around midnight when Sally awoke. Lying beside her on the bed was a folded letter. The letter said: Dear Mom, I know you're going to miss me; but don't think that I will ever forget you, or stop loving you, just 'cause I'm not around to say I LOVE YOU. I will always love you, Mom, even more with each day. Someday we will see each other again. Until then, if you want to adopt a little boy so you won't be so lonely, that's okay with me. He can have my room, and old stuff to play with. But, if you decide to get a girl instead, she probably wouldn't like the same things us boys do. You'll have to buy her dolls and stuff girls like, y'know. "Don't be sad thinking about me. This really is a neat place. Grandma and Grandpa met me as soon as I got here and showed me around some, but it will take a long time to see everything. The angels are so cool. I love to watch them fly. And, you know what? Jesus doesn't look like any of his pictures. Yet, when I saw Him, I knew it was Him. Jesus himself took me to see GOD! And guess what, Mom? I got to sit on God's knee and talk to Him, like I was somebody important. That's when I told Him that I wanted to write you a letter, to tell you goodbye and everything. But I already knew that wasn't allowed. "Well, y'know what Mom? God handed me some paper and His own personal pen to write you this letter. I think Gabriel is the name of the angel who is going to drop this letter off to you. God said for me to give you the answer to one of the questions you asked Him- 'Where was He when I needed him?' God said He was in the same place with me, as when His son Jesus was on the cross. He was right there, as He always is with all His children. "Oh, by the way, Mom, no one else can see what I've written except you. " To everyone else this is just a blank piece of paper. Isn't that cool? I have to give God His pen back now. He needs it to write some more names in the Book of Life. Tonight I get to sit at the table with Jesus for supper. I'm sure the food will be great. Oh, I almost forgot to tell you. I don't hurt anymore. The cancer is all gone. I'm glad because I couldn't stand that pain anymore ... and God couldn't stand to see me hurt so much, either. That's when He sent The Angel of Mercy to come get me. The Angel said I was Special Delivery! How about that?

Signed with Love from: God, Jesus & Me.

    My Bad! at

Argh, so careless of me. I fell and landed myself onto the rough ground while blading. my skin immediately spilt open, and blood started to appear. hahaha in order not to embarass myself, i stand up fast and shifted myself to the nearby buildings to prevent myself from being seen by the public. I could not find any tissues to stop my blood from flowing, so in the end, i had to blade to e letterbox area to grab those papers to clean my wound..hahaha so poor thing right. In army, we are trained with some first-aid skills - 1st lesson: bandage

    Photobucket

hahaha lucky im not medic trained, if not i think i will scare all e victims away.

Today is my friend's birthday. We were invited to go to his place for the party. He stayed near Old Stadium there. hahaha trust me it was far. We got to travel there by bus upon reachin kallang station. heex..yea we were the 1st to reach, hahah not being kiasu, but rather punctual heex..And with 4 of us sharing, we bought Topman Giftcard for him.

    Photobucket

A nice view from his place.

    Back From Camp! at

Hi guys! I am back. Heex, it has been a week eversince i last updated my blog. Alright lets see, any interesting stuffs to share with u guys.

Hmm, last week i came across this webbie. Gosh! OUR photo is in it. the picture was taken in the harsh environment India! Look at how the mortar bomb flew out of the barrel. Incredible scene! haha but i still think some sort of photo-editing has been done on this picture. Anyway, enough of the craps. haha i'll go straight to the point. Im in it! hahahaha A ugly pic of me in my specs, but who cares. heex. Oh ya, there is even a video attaching to it, argh, i could hear my voice too. hahaha loud n clear..

    Photobucket

Webbie: Click here to read full article.

Heex, yesterday finally booked out after a whole night of Guard Duty. Oh ya talked about guard duty, something realli pissed us off. A guy who was supposed to replace us for the shifts, didnt turn up and as a result, one of our guys had to stay back. Trust me, at that point of time, making decision was just so hard, everyone was looking at each other, nobody liked the feeling of continuing the shift especially u knew that ur shift had ended. No choice, suck thumb, we were forced to gif an answer and no choice, 1 had to sacrifice. Gosh! this incident really spoilt the moods of those people who were there. What a unique Saturday!

    Alright, sad thing aside!

Reached home ard 10++, then went out at 12++. hahaha i think i can be a tour guide. Look at the number of places that i had gone to:

Hougang --> Raffles Place --> Esplanade Park --> City Link --> Marina Square --> Suntec City --> City Link --> Serangoon --> Kovan --> Hougang

1st Stop: Marina Square. Finally, got the pair of jeans that i had bought a week ago from Topman.

    Photobucket

    Photobucket

This is the one that costed me $103. hahaha expensive! and the worst thing is that, Topman is having mid-year sale..Gosh! i need someone to control my money hahaha if not i think my money will all go down to Topman Stores le.My Account Number is 1234567890... hahah u wish ar! Gif u my account number.

2nd Stop: Suntec City. Went to carrefour to get the blade wheels, ya need to standby a few wheels for the upcoming 30km event and SNICKERS hahaha. So long nv eat chocolate le, shall treat myself wif chocolate.

    Photobucket

    Photobucket

Yea finally can save $99 on the NIKE Pacer..hahaha cos that required you to get their shoes upon buying..hmm smart idea 2 in 1 offer. But im not stupid either heex..

3rd Stop: Serangoon. It was actually 2 in 1 celebrations. So happened, 2 persons' birthday which were a dae apart, so we decided to hold a celebration for both of them. Kill 2 birds with 1 stone. Haha we had lots of fun yesterday! Will upload the pic of the cakes soon once i got the pic wif me hahaha.

I had poor time management, reached there 2 hours before the actual thing start.haha so no choie but to sit at a corner listening to music. Look carefully! hahaha im pets' lover, to them im their lover too!

    Photobucket

    Photobucket

The meow meow kept rubbing around my legs constantly. hahaha no choice la, blame myself for having a nice smell feet..hehe

    Photobucket

    Photobucket

    Photobucket

haha i haf a cake TOO - Rubbish Cake wif candles and "Happy Birthday Deco" onto it. hahaha so poor thing!

Last Stop: Kovan. Yea that was the final stop. Initially, we wanted to bowl. But the waiting time was terrible, imagine we realli waited an hour for our turn. Hmm so we gave up the idea even with an hour of waiting and instead we played pool. hahaha it was fun! and the whole game lasted till 12++ midnight.

Haha as for today, i just came back from a 10km-run. The feeling is again so nice.

It makes me forget all e sad moments, feel so good when the wind is blowing against ur direction. the more i run, the more i feel happy. Weird. hahaha

Went to bugis, but stomach weird, got to hide myself in the toilet to make cake (hahaha of course not those that could be given for mother's day). While waiting for Miss Zhang, i sat down at the starbucks to enjoy hot mocha. haha tasted so nice, so fresh. After a few sips, Miss Zhang called me.haha she was nearby. Yes finally saw her. Haha her shirt almost same as mine, hahaha not bad ar..xin you lin xi yi dian tong. hahaha yea yea i gave her e gifts, hope she liked it, actually it was a simple gift.

Reason: As a motivator when i was in India. My stay there wouldnt be fun and interesting without your support! There were times when i was so down and emo, but ur photos brighten up my day again! Thanks!

We went to National Library to look for books. Hahaha im a regular hor, library is my second home (oops as if) hahaha.. But cant find anything, so we ended up in Suntec with shortcut route. hahaha surprise right, didnt know this route. See! i can be ur tour guide le. Then we went to carrefour, bought nothing, and we went to Arcade, played basketball, played photo hunts n grabbing..wow so fun..hahaha see i got sharp eyes, small but sharp. hahaha.

Today, was indeed a special day. Realli had lots of fun, im serious is fun. Do not haf this kind of feelings for a long time. Esp after losing someone! U realli brighten up my dae!

Ice cream leh? Cube honey melts leh? hahahaha dun care will get from u next time!

Food for thought......are you the ant or the grasshopper?

Once upon a time, there lived an ant and a grasshopper.
The grasshopper does nothing else but jump around and
play. On the other hand, the ant is so hardworking,
looking for food all day long and store them in it's nest.

Looking at his hardworking friend working so hard, the grasshopper
ask, "Hey, Ant! U dun have to relax ah? Always busy one.
Come and play with me lah."

"To which the ant replied, "I can't lah i have to
store all these food." "Haiyah! Relax lah. Why u
bother storing all these food? When u
hungry den go find lah." the grasshopper told the ant again.

"Eh, cannot lah. I have to standby for the coming
winter season. Then I no need to panick mah. I think u
oso must standby u know." the ant telling his friend.

"Where got time...I go play better. U wanna store
food u go ahead lah. I continue playing ok.. bye!"
    And hop goes the grasshopper.

The Ant is a hardworking guy... oops i mean insect.
Not like the grasshopper who is so lazy. And so as
days, weeks, months go by, the winter still has not
come yet but the ant is still seen searching and
    storing food.

The two friends happen to meet again. "Hey Ant! U
stil haven't finished storing food ah? Last time all
    the food all go where?

So fast finish ah?" asked grasshopper.
"I got keep but all overdue liao. So cannot eat
anymore. All because winter not here yet. Now i have
to go and look for new food." sighed the ant.

"But ant ah.. U dun mind i ask ah.. Did u ever have a thought that
Singapore where got winter?! " ask the grasshopper again.
    "AHHHH????!!!!!" the ant was shocked!

    THE END.

The moral of the story is whatever u do better think properly 1st.
    Dun anyhow hantam only... :)

    Day 3 to 18! at

During those days, we had combat run almost everyday. Around 3 to 4km. Though we had to wake up like 5.30am, think of it in singapore timing was already 8am le. Running in semi-desert would only make u feel dried and not sweat, hardly any droplets from us. Kids there were scary, they would run near u, grabbed and ran away with watever things that they could see. It was actually a hard time for us, we got to be real careful on our equipment. hahaha cant imagine wat if the whole armour vehicle is stolen by them.

Before e training start, we had to be in long 4 with beret on, and guess wat. Yes, a priest from india came down to gif us some blessings n ritual. He was charming some hindu words, cant really understand, could only hear "singapore armies" and again lost. SO FUNNY, we were waiting for the whole ceremony to end, and u know wat, suddenly out of nowhere, he mentioned take photos. Imagine everyone was listening attentively to his blessings, suddenly with those words coming from his mouth. hahaha that was when we knew the ceremony had ended with him taking photos with some high ranking personnel. Diao! Ya and we had dots on our forehead and some thread on our hand. Really thanks so much, at least I am safe now in Singapore.

Throughout the field camp, we hardly had time to rest well. Even at night, we had to do some sentry and prowling, to ensure our things were not stolen. It was a 5days4nights camp with some live-firings going on. After a few days of rest, another 2 days of dry-run for the bilateral exercise. And finally the Real Bilateral Exercise with the Indian Armies. Yes and now we had more live-firings, shooting over 100 bombs. Cool. As it might be our last fire-living before ORD.

After the whole event, we had party/gatherings with the indian armies. hahaha it was so nice, with fireworks in the start and end.. Will upload those photo soon as it was with my friend. There were also dancers, but a bit disappointing, it think it only attracted the indians and not us. Indian dance, Indian songs, Indian Language! hahaha but overall was alright, at least learn a bit of their culture.

Oh ya, the power supply wasnt good, got cut off quite often. And there was a few nights with the light of the entire camp off. Wow. the only lights were from the stars n nowhere. cant even see my friends around me. the showering area was quite scary too, hahaha with just a touch on the tap, you can feel ur whole body vibrating. Yes electricuted. So what we did was to use towel to on the tap, if not the vibration will continue till ur whole body turns numb. Argh...Incrdible India ahahaha

End of India Training! End of Day 18!
(Day 19 onwards will be India Tour)

    Day 2 Part 2! at

6 hours train ride, the journey was smooth in the start, till a bunch of people came in. Oh god, their voices filled up the entire bits, n corner of the train. Cant stand them, cant sleep, cant rest well! Argh and it lasted for the next 3 hours. Could onli stare at them with "Sigh" in my head. Hahaha. Finally arrived at Jhansi Station. hahaha nothing special, just another station of theirs. Not much different as compared to the previous stations. Hahaha However, we were shocked when we were walkin to reach our coach. Wow, a lot of people came to us to collect money. Beggers, Handicapped, kids and more...They would chase after you till u give it to them. Then initially we thought on the bus would be safe, but who knows, diao they climbed up onto another vehicle, and could see their head beside ur window..hahaha scary! Lucky not at night, if not i think i can start to film shutter 2 (india version) hahaha joking.

We reached camp in less than an hour. Wow, upon alighting, we could feel the heat, yes real heat. The feeling is exactly like staying in SUANA. hahaha the heat could let u sweat, and the next moment u found out u r dried again. hahah thats made india so incredible. Oh ya lets talk about toilet. hahaha nicer than the palace. heex, the reason is b'cause most of their food are spicy, so we would visit more often than our bunk. hahaha. Bunk was alright, with 11 people squeezing in it. 1 good thing was, there was coolant in it. but got to fill up every few hours, troublesome. As for entertainment wise. hahaha cone ice-cream. yippee. our onli entertainment and yes nothing else. Haha

Day 3 to Day 18: Army related stuffs. Hmm will try to summarise it in a post soon. Stay tune.

Other than the local Mass Rapid Train, this was my first time taking train. On the way to the train station were kind of scary. It was early in the morning, the sun was still not out yet, so we decided to take some nap in the coach as the journey was long. Guess what, the road was very bumpy, 1st time i experienced my whole butt was away from the seat. Hahah like halfway stuck in the midair. wow..scary..ok nvm, so we went back to our dream again. Oh mama, 2nd time! and this time round my head was so near to the top. Argh, not only me, looked around, suddenly all the eyes of others become big.hahaha none of us dare to sleep anymore.

Haha see how packed the train was. It was early in the morning, so many people were rushing for work. In order to get to their destination, they had to fight for a place in the train, even if their bodies were out of the door, they dun care. So scary! Life in India is so complicated, the images were almost the same as what we saw in the tv.

    Finally Here Comes Our Train!

Look, how terrible the conditions are in India. Guys peeing, Gals peeing are so common in India. They do it every corner, every place, n everywhere. Oxes, goats can be seen in every little places of theirs. They moved around as if they were part of their family members. Haha indeed is something new and interesting. Oh ya the kids there were scary too, they played n loitered around on the track. I realli cannot imagine what would happen to them, if the train approached without them noticing.

    Photobucket

India is mainly make up of semi-desert. So when looking out of the window, other than sands, still sands.haha again something caught my attention. "sleeper class" hahahaha. Didnt have the chance to explore that train.

    Uncertainty Future Ahead! at

What do i really want in life?

Biotechnology Degree? Chemistry Degree? Tourism Degree?

Recently, i haf applied for courses in NTU, but it seems like the hope isnt there. Luck isnt there too! Private school is definitely a no-no especial for bio-related course. Imagine the strong competition with those NTU, NUS graduates. It is so hard to make decision now.

Currently, from what i know, University of Queensland, Monash University, University of New South Wales, offered me a place in their school. Hmm it seems like all are from good Uni, Top 50. But should i continue my life science? ya i know myself well, im not born smart, but if there is a need, i will study hard for it. But what can i do with those degrees in my hand. Argh, so many buts..Definitely, money n homesick issues are still e problem. I love Singapore, cant bear to even spend months outside with so many good things out here. Ya and certainly, the amount of dollars spent for e school fees, accomodation, and more. How? still cant make up my mind.

Alright, was chatting with Miss Zhang yesterday. Ya i told her i might be doing some foolish stuffs and that is to jump track and move towards tourism sector. Honestly speaking, it has been my dream since poly year 1.I do not know y, do i call that PASSION. Dunno. ahaahaha
If talk about PASSION, hmm i do have alot. Be a police (CID Dept), Be a Chef, and Be a Good Husband. hahaha oops, does that considered passion too. hahaha

Hmm shall see n see n see, anyway, after a year, i'll still come back to this topic but hopefully is with the answer. No way to hide or avoid it >.<

Look at all the smiles from our face, doesn't look realistic, all our moods were indeed low. 7 of us were in the advance party, however, sherman and guang yi were not seen in the photo.

    Singapore Airline!

Since it was my first time taking SIA flight, hmm let see what rating should i give. Yea 4 stars out of 5 stars. Haha, must not give SIA too high, so that they will not stop there and will continue to improve. Their services are great, never fail to see them smile. The journey was smooth and undisturbed and I couldnt believe I was in the plane for 5.5 hours. The next moment when i realise, I was already in New Delhi International Airport.

    Horn Please!
    Photobucket

Haha, something to surprise you guys! Look "Horn Please". The words almost appear in all heavy vehicles, so you can easily imagine the scenes of many vehicles horning while travelling on the road. One word to describe "noisy" hahaha. They do not have proper linings on the road, cars can just cut in between as and when they like. So Dangerous! Luckily, we had safe driver and passengers hahaha. And the coach brought us to a Conventional Hall cum Hotel cum Restaurant, Hahaha where we had our dinner outside the garden, and rest in their ballroom.

hahaha oh ya, the water in India is undrinkable, so we really have to depend very much on those bottle of water. Hahaha see the way we drank n snatched the water, it made us realised how important the water is to us.

This is the place where we had to stay overnight before proceeding to train station. 100 plus people squeezing in the room. Hmm a bit poor thing right hahaha worse than bangalash. heex. But it turned out to be freezing cold at night, and our sleep got disturbed.
